Hello, I created this website to introduce myself and new children’s book podcast and my Horse Power clothing range.
My children’s book Horses Can Roll But They Can’t Roller Skate. My inclusive children’s story is and is based on me and my beloved Fjord Horse Odin and it is raising funds for The Riding for The Disabled Association
Like me, the main character in the story, is challenged by disability and longs to roller skate. She meets Odin and together, on their adventure they find fund and self acceptance.
I decided to write the book to spread a little joy in lockdown, to enable Odin to go on helping people, and to encourage children facing challenges to believe in themselves. Every copy sold makes a donation to The Riding For The Disabled Association. It’s thanks to our local RDA that i am continuing my riding journey with Rosie the cob. I wrote Odin’s story years ago set it aside , thinking ‘who am I ,to write a book?’ Thanks to lockdown and the help of artist Julie Hollinshead I wish able to turn our story into reality and give a little back to The RDA.
Our little story has been praised by Hannah Russell, author of the Little Alf books and is being featured at the Equus film and arts festival in the USA. Odin’s golden heart is travelling the globe as copies have sold as far a field as Australia and Japan. I’ve also collaborated with Crafty Ponies to offer Odin’s buddies and rungs that also donate to the RDA. Our book and toys are available the website shop or via Amazon.
I’ve always been a nervous rider so decided that i wanted to find out about inspiring equestrians to keep me in the saddle I launched my Off The Lead Rein podcast and have recorded episodes with equine photographers, award winning businesses like Three Donkeys and even Paralympian Natasha Baker MBE.
Horses do such a lot for us that I decided that I wanted to give back to the horse so i created Horse Power clothing and every garment sold makes a donation to World Horse Welfare. Horse Power symbolises love of horses and their power to positively impact our lives. what’s more, when you wear Horse Power your’e supporting World Horse Welfare and it means Rosie and I get to join in with all of your fun. Share your horse power with us x

Horses Can Roll but They
Can’t Roller Skate
Lockdown gifted me the time and space to marry my passions and reignited my desire to develop the children’s story that I wrote about my Fjord horse Odin several years ago. The story was written out of my love for Odin, my golden horse with the golden heart.
I hope that Odin and Molly’s inclusive adventure will encourage a positive attitude towards difference and a ‘can do’ attitude in young readers, supporting them to realise that they are remarkable, and they can accomplish what they want to.
10% of all profits will be donated to The Riding for Disabled Association, who are supporting me through my new chapter with my pony Rosie.
A joy to read x
A fantastic book for children that is not only well written and tells an inclusive story, it also raises money for charity. The kids will be so excited to read it tonight and to see they have a note from the author.
Rhys went to bed with the first chapter tonight, he loves Hissing Sid
